What is adult social care
If you are concerned about abuse or neglect affecting an adult in Hounslow, you should report a safeguarding concern.
We offer support to adults in Hounslow who have social care needs. This might mean:
- providing information and advice
- providing direct services, depending on eligibility
- pointing you to other organisations that can help
This is our duty under the Care Act 2014.
Please note - paying for social care
It's important to understand that social care from any local authority, unlike the NHS, is not free. Please read more about what you might need to pay and make sure you're aware of this before requesting or agreeing to any services.

The Care Act 2014
