Educational psychologists
Educational psychologists (EPs) are registered healthcare professionals who work in nurseries, schools, colleges and specialist provisions.
They aim to meet with parents and carers, school staff, and often children and young people to develop an understanding of the child or young person’s needs and work through their concerns.
To access educational psychology support, your child or young person needs to be referred by a professional.
Please note, a parent or carer needs to provide consent before an educational psychologist becomes involved with a child or young person.
You can learn information about educational psychology on the main Hounslow Council website.
