Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure at Bristol Court! These action-packed sessions provide practical, interactive experiences designed to ignite curiosity and cultivate a love for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Participants will dive into a variety of hands-on activities, from constructing simple machines and exploring robotics to creating renewable energy models and learning to code.
Each one-hour session is crafted to be fun, educational, and accessible to everyone, offering a supportive environment where all can thrive. The program will culminate in a showcase event where participants can proudly share their projects and celebrate their achievements.
All levels are welcome.
- Session 1 (6 January): Colour chemistry: Walking rainbow experiment with food dye and paper towels.
- Session 2 (20 January): Fizz and foam: Creating mini volcanoes with baking soda and vinegar.
- Session 3: (3 February) Magnetic forces: Exploring magnetic forces with iron fillings and magnets.
- Session 4 (17 February): Balloon rocket races: Creating simple animation and games using scratch.
- Session 5 (3 March): The Human Body: Creating a 3D lung model using balloons.
- Session 6 (17 March): Plant Life: Planting seeds to observe their germination.
- Session 7 (7 April): Our Solar System: Building a scale model of the solar planets with foam balls.
- Session 8 (14 April): Rockets: Creating and launching paper rockets.
