Who provides aids and equipment

The community equipment service for Hounslow is Medequip.

They supply, deliver, collect, service and install equipment that has been prescribed by a Hounslow health and social care worker.

To receive equipment

To receive equipment, you first need a care assessment.

You can request an assessment yourself or ask for a referral from a professional, such as a doctor.

If you don't want a care assessment and woud like to purchase equipment yourself, you can visit the Medequip online shop.

Problems with equipment

If you have concerns or problems with equipment, you should contact Medequip.

Returning equipment

If you no longer need the equipment you've been prescribed, Medequip will collect it for free. It will then either be recycled or used by another person who needs it.

To return equipment, contact Medequip.
