Mental health and wellbeing for SEND

We offer services to help children and young people in Hounslow improve their mental health and wellbeing.

We understand that knowing and managing feelings of anxiety, stress or depression is especially difficult for children and young people as they grow and learn about themselves.

Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS)

Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) provide support and treatment for children and young people in Hounslow who suffer with a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties.

The service is provided by the West London NHS Trust and is for children and young people up to 18 years old.

You need to be referred to CAMHS by a professional such as a:

  • GP
  • social worker
  • educational psychologist (EP)
  • police officer
  • youth worker

You can find out more about CAMHS on the West London NHS Trust website, including:

  • support for parents
  • crisis support
  • mental health support for young adults aged 16 to 25

Mental health integrated network teams (MINT)

Mental health integrated network teams (MINT) provide community-based mental health support for people aged 18 years and over.

You can find out more about MINT on the West London NHS Trust website.
