There are a number of ways you can get involved in housing in your community.
Our tenant engagement strategy explains our approach for engaging tenants in the management of their homes:
Estate inspection volunteer
Volunteers can help to create cleaner and safer neighbourhoods and embed civic pride by reporting repairs in your neighbourhood, working closely with housing staff.
Block representative
Block representatives provide regular reports on unresolved matters and are supported by the local tenant and resident association.
Building safety group
These residents' voices are key to sharing safety information with other residents.
Repairs action group
Members of the group help improve service by focusing on the repairs service, anti-social behaviour and the customer experience.
Sheltered area resident association (SARA)
Representatives from sheltered housing blocks attend SARA meetings to discuss matters raised by tenants.
Tenants and residents associations (TRAs)
These groups promote civic pride, get involved in the community and raise matters with housing services.
Leaseholder network group
This group share information with other leaseholders.
Tenant scrutiny
Resident Voice is the tenant-led group acting as a critical friend to review services.
Joining the Resident Voice group is via a selective process, drawing in tenants from across different communities.
In turn, Resident Voice will invite wider numbers of tenants to help review the services you receive.
