Our community event in Hounslow
Are you an unpaid carer? Do you look after someone?
Come join us for a free event on Thursday 12 June to celebrate Carers Week 2025.
The London Borough of Hounslow, in partnership with voluntary and community partners, is proud to host a special free event for our unpaid carers. This day is designed to offer you time to relax, have fun, and connect with others.
You'll also have the opportunity to share experiences, learn about the support available in the borough, and participate in free activities.
Event details:
- Date: Thursday 12 June 2025
- Times: 10am to 3pm
- Venue: Holy Trinty Church, 6 High Street, Hounslow TW3 1HG
- Cost: Free! No registration required, simply turn up on the day
This event is open to all unpaid carers living in Hounslow, who look after someone, whether it's a family member, friend, or neighbour. You are a carer whether you provide support full-time or for a few hours now and again. We appreciate all that you do!
You are welcome to bring the person you care for, if you wish. You can find accessibility information for the Holy Trinity Church on AccessAble.
On the day you can:
- engage in a variety of fun and interactive activities designed to entertain and relax, such as Zumba, yoga and mindfulness
- chat to professionals throughout the day, including healthcare providers and local support services, offering personalised advice and support
- attend expert talks covering breast screening, mental health and pathways to local support
- receive free health checks
- find out about the new Carers Advice Service
- enjoy refreshments and nibbles, including a non-alcoholic cocktail
- enter the free raffle and much more.

- LBH Community Hubs (includes Hounslow Connect and online services for residents, from 10am to 12 noon)

- Thames Reach (Floating Support Service)
- Citizen’s Advice Bureau (benefits and debt advice)
- West London NHS - Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT)
- Sefali’s Yoga
- Changing Suits (Health and Wellbeing Charity)
- Healthy Hounslow
- LBH Public Health Team
- Health Outreach Team (HOT Team)
- The ASC (Adult Social Care) Community Information Team will also be attending with The Gazebo, Adult Social Care Information ‘pop up’ shop, to provide information and direct residents to local support services
