The Gazebo - Pop-up advice and information shop for adult social care

The Gazebo is our ‘pop-up’ advice and information shop for Adult Social Care in Hounslow.

It is staffed by: 

  • members of the community information team
  • social workers
  • partner services or voluntary organisations
  • other council staff

We can give direct advice to residents on:

  • care and support options if you are struggling to manage at home because of age, illness or disability
  • what help is available if you look after someone as their carer
  • how to use our website
  • activities and courses available in the borough
  • employment and training opportunities
  • what help is available if you want to lose weight, give up smoking or make healthier choices
  • other organisations, charities and groups that can offer support in the borough

Where The Gazebo will be

The Gazebo will be out and about in the borough at community events and venues such as health centres, supermarket car parks and garden centres. If the event is indoors, look out for our information table.

2025 timetable

We will be in the atrium of West Middlesex Hospital (Google Maps) on the following Thursdays from 10am to 3pm:

Booking The Gazebo for your event

If you are holding a community event or would like The Gazebo to attend a specific venue in Hounslow, please contact The Gazebo team:

We can attend outdoor events with the pop-up tent (3 x 3 metres) or indoors with a display table (2 x 1 metres).

We also welcome suggestions for future events and venues.
