There is a range of activities, clubs and leisure opportunities available for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in and around the borough of Hounslow.

Adult Autism Hounslow
Independent autism support group based in Hounslow.

Heathrow special needs centre
A centre providing support for people:
- with profound learning disabilities
- with physical and mental disabilities
- who are recovering from serious health conditions.
The centre uses animal-assisted activities to provide therapeutic and educational benefits.

New Flyerz Hockey
A group offering pan-disability hockey sessions to people who;
- have a neurodiverse condition
- use a wheelchair or frame
- are visually impaired
- are deaf
You don’t need experience to join these sessions and all equipment is provided.

Our Barn
A support setting for young people aged 16 to 25 years old with SEND, which acts as a bridge between formal education and adult life.

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
An organisation that focuses on therapeutic and health benefits for clients with physical and learning disabilities and autism, with no age restrictions.

Skylarks
A charity based in Richmond that provides a supportive and active community for children and young people with SEND, including their families.

Snakes & Ladders
Provides play sessions for children with SEND aged zero to 12 years. This is also a place for families to relax and connect.

Stay & Play (Reflections - Urban Farm)
A holiday playscheme run specifically for children and young people with SEND and their siblings. You can attend if your child or young person has been referred by Hounslow’s social work team.

TAG Youth Club
An activities club providing a safe and engaging environment for children and young people with SEND aged eight to 25.

The Otakar Kraus Music Trust (OKMT)
A trust based in South-West London that provides music therapy and music projects for people of all ages with physical, learning, neurological or psychological difficulties.

Isleworth Explorers Club
Provides a purposeful activity programme for people aged five to 24 and a childcare project which incorporates some of these activities.

Feltham Bees Disabled Sports Club
A pan-disability club offering football training for children and young people aged 5 years and over. All abilities are welcome.
Training is every Saturday morning, 9am to 11am at Springwest Academy (Google Maps).
