Library at home

You can use this service if you are physically unable to visit your local library due to disability or illness, whether you live in your own home, sheltered accommodation or residential care.

What kind of service is offered?

A member of staff will deliver a monthly supply of books to your home. A record will be kepy of your current likes and interests to help with the selection.

As well as ordinary print books, we supply:

  • large print books
  • talking books (if you have sight difficulties)
  • magazines (general interest and specialist titles)
  • jigsaws
  • DVDs
  • CDs

Members can also reserve library items.
