Anyone can join the library for free. You can register online or join at any library.
You will need to show proof of your identity. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian will need to attend the library with you to get you signed up.
Acceptable forms of identification (ID):
- driving licence
- medical card
- utility bill
- bank statement
- passport
- debit or credit card
- security pass
- Oyster card or Freedom Pass, if they include proof of name
Make sure you bring original forms of ID as we will not accept photocopies.
Lost library cards can be replaced for a fee. Check our fees and charges.
