Older person's Freedom Pass

An older person's Freedom Pass allows free travel on:

  • London buses, trains, trams, DLR and river services
  • local bus journeys throughout the country

Who can apply

You must be both:

  • a London resident
  • aged 66 or older

If you are not eligible for a Freedom Pass, you may be able to get a 60+ London Oyster photocard from Transport for London.

How to apply or renew

You can apply for or renew an older person's Freedom Pass on the London Councils website. We do not issue passes.
