ILAYS is a non-profit organisation, set up in 2004 by the East African community in West London.
It provides non-judgmental services to BME communities in West London, regardless of religion, race, gender, sexuality or politics.
Services include:
- health, fitness and relaxation sessions
- coffee mornings and social club
- life coaching
- one-to-one advice and advocacy to help express your views and stand up for your rights
- employment support, offering advice on CVs, job searching, interviews and workplace etiquette
- signposting and referral services
- youth support services
- access to mental health services
- advice and guidance on welfare benefits, housing, education, training and health
- support in completing welfare benefit application forms such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, appeals and mandatory reconsiderations, Councill Tax Support and discounts
