Service description

ILAYS is a non-profit organisation, set up in 2004 by the East African community in West London.

It provides non-judgmental services to BME communities in West London, regardless of religion, race, gender, sexuality or politics.

Services include:

  • health, fitness and relaxation sessions
  • coffee mornings and social club
  • life coaching
  • one-to-one advice and advocacy to help express your views and stand up for your rights
  • employment support, offering advice on CVs, job searching, interviews and workplace etiquette
  • signposting and referral services
  • youth support services
  • access to mental health services
  • advice and guidance on welfare benefits, housing, education, training and health
  • support in completing welfare benefit application forms such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, appeals and mandatory reconsiderations, Councill Tax Support and discounts
