Immediate danger
There is immediate danger if a structure is at risk of collapse and must be secured for public safety.
In these circumstances, please call 020 8583 5454. This is a 24-hour emergency call-out service.
No immediate danger
If you are concerned about a structure, but it is not an immediate danger, you can report it online.
In this case, please do not call the 24-hour emergency call-out number.
Report a dangerous structure online
What we'll do
If there is immediate danger, we will aim to send an officer to investigate within 2 hours of the call.
If there is no immediate danger and instead you're reporting a structural concern, a Building Control officer will investigate within 2 working days.
